Position: Senior Project Architect/Manager
Job Summary: This is a senior level, full time position reporting directly to the firm’s principal. Ideally suited for someone who thrives in a cross-functional role, enjoys direct client interaction and possesses a multidisciplinary range of project, consultant, and staff management skills to successfully deliver complex projects.
You must possess firm understanding and appreciation of construction technology in Florida, and Florida Building Codes.
Key Responsibilities
The senior project architect/manager is responsible for all aspects of project delivery from Schematic Design through Construction Administration. This includes coordination with the firm’s clients, its engineering consultants, and permitting agencies, and supervision of in-house project team members.
Responsibilities include playing a significant role in business development in Florida, as well as assisting in the marketing process - from overseeing collateral development to tracking and responding to RFPs.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: 5 year Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
- Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in an architecture firm, and key involvement on one or more LEED certified projects in directing design or documentation for certification.
- Special Skills: Must be proficient in Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft office products.
- Certifications/Licenses: Licensed in Florida preferred, or eligible to be licensed, or equivalent related life experience in the field of architecture.
