Twin Lakes Park Green Office Building
Sarasota, FL - Carlson Studio Architecture's new Twin Lakes Park has been awarded the 2003 Sustainable Florida/AIA Award of Merit. By creating a sustainable environment combining vision and pragmatism, Carlson Studio Architecture designed the Twin Lakes Park Office Complex to function as a shining example of leadership in sustainable design. It is the area's first "green architecture" commercial building. The project is LEED registered, with the expectation of LEED Gold Certification upon completion. LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, is a voluntary, standardized rating system developed and endorsed by the U.S. Green Building Council.
